Terms & Conditions

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY AUTHORIZATION

Through My Lens reserves the right to capture photographs and video footage during any portion of our trips. By booking a reservation, guests consent to the use of their likeness in these recordings for promotional purposes.

Opt-Out Policy: Any guests who wish to remain anonymous or exclude their image from promotional materials must provide written notification to Through My Lens prior to the start of the trip.

CANCELLATION & TRIP CREDIT POLICY

If a traveler cancels their participation in a trip for any reason, no cash refunds will be issued. Instead, any applicable recovery of funds will be provided as a Trip Credit, valid for up to 18 months from the original trip start date.

Credits will be calculated as follows:

  • 90+ Days Before Trip: Trip credit issued minus the non-refundable deposit, credit card processing fees, and third-party platform fees (e.g., WeTravel).
  • 45–89 Days Before Trip: Trip credit issued minus the non-refundable deposit, credit card processing fees, third-party platform fees, and any non-recoverable vendor-imposed penalties.
  • Under 45 Days Before Trip: No credit or refund available.

PAYMENT & FLIGHT PACKAGE

Airfare Responsibility: For packages that do not include airfare, guests are responsible for booking their own flights. All independently booked airfare must align with the scheduled arrival and departure dates of the trip.

Hotel Incidentals: Guests acknowledge that hotels may require a valid major credit card upon check-in to cover incidental charges. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Room service and minibar usage
  • Property damage
  • Additional onsite services

Financial Responsibility: All incidental expenses and related charges are the sole financial responsibility of the guest and are not included in the total trip package price.

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling the obligations of this Agreement when such delays result from circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

Included Circumstances:

  • Acts of God, accidents, riots, war, or acts of terrorism.
  • Global unrest or government shutdowns.
  • Airline inability to operate or maintain flight schedules.
  • Influenza, pandemics, or other public health emergencies.

Policy Precedence: In the event of a Force Majeure occurrence, this clause shall take precedence over the standard trip cancellation policy.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & INDEMNIFICATION

This Agreement is a legal contract between the Participant (you), Through My Lens Travel, LLC ("Company"), and Sharon Campbell. By signing, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

The Participant acknowledges that travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Health & Safety: Illness, disease, medical emergencies, personal injury, or death.
  • Property & Environment: Property loss/damage, natural disasters, or hazardous weather.
  • External Factors: Crime, terrorism, political instability, or accidents involving transportation (land, air, or sea).
  • Activities: Physical exertion from tours, hiking, and excursions, as well as food or water-related illnesses.
  • Participant's Choice: You voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown.
2. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Participant releases, waives, and holds harmless Through My Lens Travel, LLC, Sharon Campbell, and all associated staff/contractors from any claims, damages, or financial losses, including injury or death, even if caused by negligence.

3. Third-Party Suppliers

The Company acts only as an intermediary. You acknowledge that Through My Lens is not responsible for:

  • Airlines and transportation companies
  • Hotels and resorts
  • Independent tour operators and activity guides
4. Medical Responsibility
  • Fitness: You confirm you are physically and medically fit for the trip.
  • Insurance: You agree to obtain your own travel and medical insurance; the Company does not provide this.
  • Emergency Care:You authorize emergency medical treatment if needed and accept full financial responsibility for all related costs.
5. Indemnification & Legal Governing

By agreeing to these terms, the Participant confirms the following:

  • Indemnification: You agree to financially protect and "hold harmless" Through My Lens Travel, LLC and Sharon Campbell against any legal fees, damages, or claims that arise specifically from your own conduct or participation during the trip.
  • Flexibility of Plans: You acknowledge that itineraries are subject to change without notice due to weather, government regulations, or supplier adjustments beyond the Company’s control.
  • Governing Law: This agreement is legally bound by and shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of New York.
  • Binding Agreement: By submitting a deposit, you formally acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions effective as of February 28, 2026.
