Payments: Reservations can be made securely online using major credit or debit cards.
CANCELLATIONS & TRIP CREDIT POLICY
Initial Deposit: All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable once received, as it secures your room, transportation, and event passes with our local suppliers.
If you need to cancel your trip, you may be eligible to receive a trip credit for qualifying payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit, and any supplier-imposed cancellation fees, penalties, or non-refundable charges may be deducted from the amount eligible for trip credit.
Trip credit must be used toward a future Through My Lens LLC group trip and must be redeemed within 18 months from the date of cancellation. Trip credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash.
If a cancellation occurs after the applicable supplier cancellation deadline, additional restrictions may apply.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to help protect your investment in the event of unforeseen circumstances that affect your ability to travel.
Note: A trip credit is not a refund and does not guarantee availability or pricing on a future trip. Future travel is subject to availability and the terms and pricing in effect at the time of rebooking.
TRAVEL INSURANCE REQUIREMENT
Because unexpected life events happen, such as illness, flight delays, or family emergencies, Through My Lens LLC (TML) strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive Travel Insurance or "Cancel for Any Reason" coverage at the time of booking to protect your investment.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Most international destinations require passports to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the arrival date. Passports MUST be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your planned return date.
U.S. Citizens Only: The trip descriptions and entry requirements provided on the website are written exclusively for U.S. passport holders.
Non-U.S. Citizens: If you carry a non-U.S. passport, you are responsible for contacting the consulate or embassy of each country on the itinerary to determine visa, passport validity, and entry rules. TML will not check or guarantee these requirements for you.
CHILDREN
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults bear full responsibility for the safety, supervision, and conduct of any minors in their care.
RATES
Listed rates are per person and assume shared room occupancy (twin, double, Queen, or King) unless explicitly noted otherwise.
Unless specified as included, total prices do not cover personal expenses, beverages and food outside of all-inclusive resorts or explicit package meals, passport, visa, and entry fees, independent travel insurance, or foreign port taxes.
FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling the obligations of this Agreement when such delays result from circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
Included Circumstances: These events include, but are not limited to:
- Acts of God, accidents, riots, war, or acts of terrorism.
- Global unrest or government shutdowns.
- Influenza, pandemics, or other public health emergencies.
- Airline inability to operate or maintain flight schedules.
In the event that a force majeure occurrence arises, the parties will adhere to the cancellation policies of the suppliers and these Terms & Conditions. Any changes to those policies are at the sole discretion of the supplier (if applicable) and the Travel Agency. Guests will be informed of their available options should a force majeure event occur.
TRAVELERS WITH DISABILITIES
Trip guests requiring any form of assistance, including travelers with physical disabilities or sight and hearing impairments, must be accompanied by an individual responsible for providing such assistance.
Through My Lens LLC and its vendors are not responsible for and are unable to provide personal assistance.
Expenses including cancellation fees and/or costs for alternate travel arrangements or return transportation will be the responsibility of the guest.
Tours may be fast-paced and may require lengthy walks. In the interest of group harmony, guests should be able to maintain the pace of the tour.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Most rooms feature king-size or queen-size beds, with a limited number of twin-bedded (two single beds) rooms available upon request. Twin-bed options are not guaranteed and are subject to availability at the discretion of hotel management.
All rooms include private facilities. Some single rooms may be smaller than standard room sizes, and the number of guests accommodated does not determine room dimensions.
Hotel check-in time is generally not before 3:00 p.m., and check-out time is before noon. Please ensure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been made when a late-night flight is scheduled.
We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of substituted accommodations.
Guests acknowledge that hotels may require a valid major credit card upon check-in to cover incidental charges. These include, but are not limited to:
- Room service and minibar usage
- Property damage
- Additional onsite services or amenities
All incidental expenses and related charges are the sole financial responsibility of the guest and are not included in the total trip package price provided by Through My Lens LLC.
MEALS
Meals are provided as specified in each itinerary and are based on the hotels or restaurants stated.
While Through My Lens LLC cannot make guarantees, every effort will be made to honor special dietary requests submitted in writing at least a month prior to departure at guests@tmltravelservices.com.
COMMUNITY AND GROUP STANDARDS
To ensure the desired group synergy, Through My Lens LLC reserves the right to accept, reject, or expel any individual who is deemed disruptive or incompatible with the interests of the group.
This includes, but is not limited to, individuals who are intoxicated and/or under the influence of drugs leading to a negative experience for the remainder of the group.
Expenses, including cancellation fees and/or costs for alternate travel plans or to return home, will necessarily be borne by the guests. All unused services are non-refundable.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Check with your healthcare provider for up-to-date requirements. You may also check the Centers for Disease Control (www.cdc.gov) and/or the World Health Organization (www.who.int) for their recommendations.
Required vaccinations, if any, must be recorded by the client's health practitioner on a valid immunization certificate which the client must carry for proof of vaccination where required.
While on the trip, all costs associated with medical treatment and related expenses, such as additional hotel nights or transportation not included in the original itinerary, will necessarily be borne by the passenger.
TIPPING
Tipping is optional and always at your discretion, but highly appreciated for exceptional service.
Suggested guidelines are as follows:
- Drivers: $5–$10 per person, per day.
- Our Guides: $10–$20 per person, per day.
RELEASE FROM LIABILITY
Through My Lens LLC, its owner(s), employees, and affiliates (collectively Through My Lens LLC, "TMLS Travel Services", TML) do not own or operate any entity which provides goods or services for your trip including, for example, ownership or control over hotels or other lodging facilities, vessels, buses, vans, or other transportation companies, local ground operators, providers or organizers of optional excursions or equipment used thereon, food service, or entertainment providers, etc.
All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, Through My Lens LLC is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity or of any other third party.
Without limitation, Through My Lens LLC is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from, but not limited to:
- Acts of God or acts of government
- Force majeure, acts of war, or civil unrest
- Insurrection, revolt, strikes, or other labor activities
- Criminal or terrorist activities or the threat thereof
- Overbooking or downgrading of accommodations
- Structural or other defective conditions in hotels or lodging facilities
- Mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other transportation
- Failure of transportation to arrive or depart timely or safely
- Dangers associated with animals, pests, insects, marine life, or vegetation
- Recreational activities such as swimming, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, rafting, hiking, walking, or bicycling
- Sanitation problems or food poisoning
- Lack of access to or quality of medical care
- Difficulty in evacuation during a medical or other emergency
- Illness, epidemics, or the threat thereof
- Any other cause beyond the direct control of Through My Lens LLC
In addition, I release Through My Lens LLC from its own negligence and assume all risk thereof.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I am aware that travel such as that I am undertaking involves hazardous activities, with a risk of illness, injury, or death which may be caused by forces of nature, animals, insects, or flora, the negligence of Through My Lens LLC, or other persons and companies known or unknown, or by the willful or criminal conduct of third parties.
I am aware that weather conditions may be severe, adverse, and/or unpleasant. I am also aware that medical services or facilities may not be readily available or accessible during some or all of the time during which I am participating in the trip.
In order to partake of the enjoyment and excitement of this trip, I am willing to accept the risks and uncertainty involved as being an integral part of my adventure.
I hereby accept and assume full responsibility for any and all risks of illness, injury, or death and of the negligence of Through My Lens LLC and agree to hold harmless and release Through My Lens LLC from claims of third-party negligence.
I understand the physical requirements of the activity in which I will be participating, and I currently have no known physical, medical, or mental condition which would impair my ability to participate in this tour or my safety in this activity, and I am willing to assume all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition.
I hereby authorize Through My Lens LLC or my local ground handler or others to arrange for any emergency medical treatment and hospitalization as may be necessary for me because of participation in this activity without my further consent, and accept full financial responsibility for all related costs.
MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Fitness: You confirm you are physically and medically fit for the trip.
- Insurance: You agree to obtain your own travel and medical insurance; the Company does not provide this.
- Emergency Care: You authorize emergency medical treatment if needed and accept full financial responsibility for all related costs.
PHOTOGRAPHIC / VIDEO RELEASE
Through My Lens LLC may take photographs or video of its trips, and trip participants grant Through My Lens LLC permission to do so and for it to use the same for promotional or commercial use without payment of any compensation to the participant.
USE OF WEBSITE
Agreement between Customer and Through My Lens LLC:
www.tmltravelservices.com is offered to you, the guest, conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein.
Your use of www.tmltravelservices.com constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
The information, products, and services published on this website may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. Updates and changes are made periodically to the content herein.
